Cindric Honors Ford IMSA History with Darlington Throwback Livery

Austin Cindric will honor Ford’s racing heritage by running a livery matching the first front-engine Mustang GTP this weekend in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway. 

“Darlington is a huge weekend for NASCAR fans with the throwback schemes at an old school race track,” said Cindric. “To have Ford Hall of Fans on the race car this weekend is pretty big and I’m excited for that. It’s a really cool program that Ford is doing.  This throwback scheme we have is a really great throwback to bit of an unknown race car.”

Robichon on IMSA-Wide Success: “One Lap at a Time”

If sports car fans didn’t know Zacharie Robichon’s name at the start of 2018, they sure do now.

The 26-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario, has turned heads this year with his success across three IMSA platforms – the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama, Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama and IMSA Prototype Challenge Presented by Mazda.

Historic Mazda, Modern Mazda Driver Win at Monterey Reunion

The annual Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California gives race fans the opportunity to not only see yesterday’s racecars, but to experience them driven in anger at one of North America’s premier race circuits.

Four historic Mazda race cars, owned and maintained by Mazda, took part in this year’s Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion. A Mazda 767 was driven by Jonathan Bomarito, a Mazda 787 was driven by Tom Long, a Mazda RX-7 GTO was driven by Joel Miller and a Mazda RX-792P was driven by Tristan Nunez.

The International Motorsports Association (IMSA) today revealed a significant part of its 50th anniversary celebration with the unveiling of their book “IMSA: Celebrating 50 Years” at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.
The revel came against the backdrop of one of the largest motorsports and automotive events there is – the annual Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. IMSA has raced at the track for five decades with the first race coming in 1974. 

IMSA Unveils Commemorative 50th Anniversary Book

The stories of the drivers, cars, teams, manufacturers, events and executives that make up the storied history of the International Motorsports Association (IMSA) will be unveiled Saturday in a hardcover commemorative book at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca in California.
