Devin Jones and Drake Kemper to Drive Bodymotion ST Porsche Cayman in 2017 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge

Returning driver Devin Jones will be joined for the 2017 season by a new driver to Bodymotion Racing, Drake Kemper, starting at the Roar before the Rolex 24 test at Daytona International Speedway which takes place January 6-8. Jones and Kemper will look to capitalize on their individual sports car racing successes as the new  driver combination sets sights on the IMSA CTSC Street Tuner (ST) class championship.

TRG Announces Lyons, Wilson as 2017 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Drivers

The Racers Group will sport at least one Aston Martin V8 Vantage in the 2017 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge. Craig Lyons and Kris Wilson will team up for the first time with the British GT4 car in the GS class. The series kicks off at the four-hour BMW Endurance Challenge during the spectacular Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona event, January 26-29, 2017.

With the unveiling of this effort, the team becomes the second to publicly announce the introduction of McLaren’s new 570S GT4 car to the series.

Automatic Racing and VOLT Racing to Debut McLaren GT4 in IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge

Automatic Racing will be managing operations for IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge team VOLT Racing, who will be the first North American team to compete in the McLaren 570S GT4. Alan Brynjolfsson and Chris Hall will co-drive the McLaren in the GS class for the full 2017 season.

BimmerWorld Gears Up for 2017 Continental Tire Challenge Season

James Clay, of Blacksburg, Virginia, and Tyler Cooke of Matthews, North Carolina, will continue to co-drive BimmerWorld's No. 84 OPTIMA Batteries BMW 328i in 2017. Stepping into the team's No. 81 BMW 328i will be Ari Balogh of Menlo Park, California and Greg Liefooghe of San Francisco.

Enhancements Unveiled For 2017 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge

International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) officials today confirmed enhancements in key areas to be implemented for the 2017 IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge.

A year-end points fund has been established for eligible Challenge participants in 2017. In addition, IMSA confirmed that all Continental Tire Challenge rounds in 2017 will feature tape delayed television coverage on FS1, which is available in more than 80 million homes in the United States.
