For the seventh consecutive year, the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama is part of the annual Victoria Day SpeedFest this weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP).

Eleven Porsche GT3 Cup Canada Platinum Cup class cars are slated to compete in the two, 45-minute sprint races set for the weekend, with the first on Saturday, May 19 at 3:05 p.m. ET and the second on Sunday, May 20 at 11:20 a.m. ET. The races are the third and fourth rounds of the 2018 season and will be streamed live on IMSA.tv.

Porsche GT3 Cup Canada Entry List for Victoria Day SpeedFest Unveiled

After a two-month hiatus, the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama heads to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park next weekend as part of the annual Victoria Day SpeedFest on May 18 – 20.

Eleven Porsche GT3 Cup Canada cars are slated to compete in the third and fourth rounds of the 2018 season, with the first two having come at Sebring International Raceway back in March.

Ruscitti, OpenRoad Racing Take Advantage of Sebring Test

Representing the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama last week in the IMSA-sanctioned test at Sebring International Raceway was OpenRoad Racing and driver Remo Ruscitti.

Ruscitti, entering his sophomore season in Porsche GT3 Cup Canada, has had previous IMSA experience at the iconic 3.74-mile circuit in a handful of Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge races. The Canadian emphasizes the importance of track time at Sebring.

Entries Rolling in for 2018 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada Season

Ahead of the eighth season of competition for the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama, a wave of cars has officially entered to compete in the IMSA-sanctioned series.

Sebring International Raceway is set to host the season-opening pair of races for Porsche GT3 Cup Canada next month, with the first race on Thursday, March 15 at 4:25 p.m. ET and the second on Friday, March 16 at 11:25 a.m. Both 45-minute races will be streamed live on IMSA.com and are in conjunction with the series’ American counterpart – Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama.

Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada to Kick Off Season at Sebring

The Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama returns for its eighth season of competition in 2018, with its traditional 12-round schedule coinciding with some of the biggest motorsport events in North America.

The one-make series, scheduled across six event weekends, contests two, 45-minute races per weekend. Champions will be crowned across the series’ three classes – Platinum Cup, Gold Cup and Masters Platinum Cup.
